Dave, the owner of Blinds Beautiful, has been in the window treatment industry since 1974. His mother Victoria ran a successful drapery sewing workroom in the southwest side of Chicago. She sewed every type of drapery treatment imaginable for many independent drapery stores and interior designers. Dave started to install for some of her accounts and eventually started his own retail drapery shop. In 1995, with a shift in decorating trends Dave decided to concentrate on what is known in the window treatment industry as "Hard Products" such as various types of blinds and shades and thus Blinds Beautiful began.
